Btech Admission 2016 Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) is one of the premier Institutions in the field of Technical and Management Education. It has been formed by Shri Ram Educational Trust, Noida on no profit basis with a firm determination and commitment to foster a holistic approach towards the development of Engineering and Management Education. The Trust was formed in the year 2000 and the Institute was established in the year 2001. The Computer Science & Engineering Department is a self-driven proactive nerve center, which caters to the ever-growing technology in the sphere of academic, research and training needs of computing concepts, tools and techniques in the profession of Computer Science and Information Technology. It encompasses a variety of topic relating to computation, ranging from abstract analysis of algorithms and formal grammars, to subjects like programming languages, software, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing and Computer hardware. Department of Computer Science & Engineering established in 2000 and accredited by NBA in 2007. As a wealth the department is having strong team of faculty members with well experience & dedication in different domain. The pass out students of the department are performing extremely well in almost-all the leading organization and making the name of the department brighter .The Department has The Department offers both B.Tech. & M.Tech Regular Programs.
ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION
The B.Tech. Course in Electronics & Communication Engineering of GNIOT was started in 2001 and has been keeping pace with the latest technology in industries. We have always maintained a policy of providing students with state-of-the-art systems and laboratories with regularly upgraded curriculum. The course is composed of Electronics & Communication as well as relevant software and hardware subjects. Standard laboratory facilities along with unlimited access to the INTERNET brings out the future Electronics Engineers of high caliber. The department has a group of capable and motivated teaching staff and faculty who are adept at guiding the students through various software and hardware projects.
The students of Electronics are a dynamic lot, their minds being filled with new ideas. CIVIL ENGINEERING
Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering, One of the primary engineering departments of the G.N.I.O.T Group of Institution. The Department of Civil Engineering has been in existence since 2008, the Department of Civil Engineering offers Bachelors and Masters in Technology with specialization in Environmental engineering programs.
Civil Engineering Department offers 4 year fulltime course, have an intake capacity at Bachelors level of 180 in First shift, 60 in Second shift and Masters level of intake capacity 18 students. The program includes courses in the basic sciences, engineering sciences, humanities and social sciences, and a number of electives besides the courses in the principal areas of study in Civil Engineering.
MECHANICAL ENGG.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at GNIOT is one of the founding departments offering academic programming in conformity to the Utter Pradesh Technical University curriculum. The department prepares students for B.Tech and M.Tech programs. In addition, in house programs prepare the students for destinations in industry, research and public services. Mechanical engineering society “ASPIRE” facilitates the innovative, creativity and positive attitude among the students.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Department of Information Technology is imparting technical Education of high quality to the aspiring youth of the country. The department with the passage of its evolution and growth has succeeded in creating its place of excellence within the Institute as well as among its counterparts in the country. It has been attracting bright students from all parts of the country for quality education in Information Technology at Under Graduate level. During the course of time it has offered opportunities to its inmates in the area of quality education.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Goals of Department are:
1. To educate students in fundamental concept of electrical engineering with an engineering science emphasis in a way that enables students to apply basic knowledge to achieve technological advances towards satisfaction of human needs.
2. To support professional, industrial and economic development by providing students with opportunities for intensive learning and direct application of knowledge in the field of electrical engineering.
3. To prepare students for sustained professional education.
Department has qualified, young and dynamic teaching staff, many with specialization in various streams from reputed institutions. Team of faculty members, supported by well trained laboratory staff and technicians cater the need for overall development of students in academics as well as in other technical activities. Apart from regular subjects of the course, department also offers a wide range of elective subjects, which benefits the students in pursuing their field of interest so as to specialize and concentrate more on fields relevant to their stream.

Electronic Instrumentation engineering is a specialized branch of electrical and electronic engineering, which focuses on the principle, and operation of measuring instruments, process control which are used in design and configuration of automated systems.
The B.Tech. Course in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering of GNIOT was started in 2001.Instrumentation Engineers help in the designing, construction and maintenance of instruments and entire instrumentation systems of an industrial undertaking. An instrumentation engineer decides the type of instruments needed for ensuring better quality and efficiency of the end product.

APPLIED SCIENCE
It is a well known fact that the Department of Applied Sciences in any Engineering College has the following two important responsibilities to undertake and execute efficiently: (1) Provide strong academic foundation to fresh minds; and (2) to control & manage their distracting tendencies.
